December is a busy month

It has been a fantastic and busy semester, which is finally winding down. Time seems to be non-existent from Thanksgiving to Christmas time.

Here at the Wellness Center I am seeing schools books being scoured over for the finals that students are taking. I have always thought that the Dec.r finals are the hardest, the instructors want students to focus, and students want to be free to go home for the Christmas break, and recharge for the spring semester.

Speaking of spring semester, classes will be starting Jan 9. The HPE department will be having our usual morning classes of Yoga, Boot Camp, Physioball, Tai’Chi, and Senior Stretch and Flex.

Evening classes are Zumba, Pilates, Dance Aerobics, and Boot Camp. Register for these classes on line www.gilagccc.org or at the Gila Pueblo campus. They will be closed Dec. 17 through Jan. 1 for Christmasbreak.

We are having a bake sale here at the Wellness Center Dec. 12 starting at 8 a.m.it will go all day or until the goodies are all sold. The proceeds will help a special person with medical expenses incurred from cancer treatments.

Please come by and buy some goodies; you might even solve some of your Christmas baking needs while you are here.

WOOHOO!

Selma
