David Guillermo Denogean passed away on July 30, 2015 at the age of 62.  He was born Feb. 3, 1953 in Superior, AZ to parents Federico (Fili) and Maria C. Denogean.

On July 27, 1974 David married Mary Martha Dozal.  He was preceded in death by his son Tommy Jon Denogean, father Federico Denogean aka Superman and mother Maria C. Denogean. He is survived by his wife, Mary Martha; children, David Denogean Jr., Leticia Soto, Araceli Kay (CJ), Amanda Roush (Joe), Enrique Denogean and Anna Lisa Nickerson (Adam).  David was blessed with 12 grandchildren; they each had a special place in their Tata’s heart.  He is also survived by his siblings Angie Denogean, Freddie Denogean, Miguel Denogean, Norma Campillo, Margie Real, Chella Preciado and Ramon Denogean.

David loved his family as well as his very large extended family and friends.  He often had a few extra nieces or nephews or friends of his kids/grandkids running around his house or tagging along on vacation or camping.  He didn’t always remember who he had, he just had to remember the amount of kids he had and would do a head count before he could leave anywhere.

David had a genuine love of music. He played music in a band, Latin Illusion. They would always donate time to play at benefits for anyone in need.  He also enjoyed having jam sessions with his family and friends.

David was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish.  He will live in our hearts forever.

Services will be held Aug. 8, 2015 at 9 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi church in Superior, AZ.
