“Excellent patient care has always been the main goal of the highly trained physicians and dedicated staff of Medical Diagnostic Imaging Group (MDIG),” stated Ray Plummer, Director of Business Development. “We are pleased to be bringing our diagnostic reading services to Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center (CVRMC).”

Beginning on Dec. 6, CVRMC will be partnered with MDIG, a private practice radiology group with over 40 board certified and fellowship trained radiologists. Since 1987, MDIG has provided both hospital and imaging center radiology services throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Complete tele-radiology services are also available with speech recognition dictations for rapid final reports of patients’ examinations. Dr. Alan Osumi will be the full-time Doctor of Radiology at CVRMC beginning on Jan. 2.

MDIG radiologists are fellowship trained in body imaging, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, pediatric radiology, musculoskeletal imaging and multiple other MRI, cross sectional and specialty sections.

“The radiologists of MDIG are fellow-trained in all types of diagnostic readings; x-ray, CT, MRI, PET, to name a few, and this expertise will benefit every patient receiving imaging services at CVRMC,” stated Neal Jensen, CEO of CVRMC. “We look forward to our partnership with MDIG and providing this excellent service to our physicians as well as the patients we all serve,” he continued.
