Cobre Valley Institute of Technology (CVIT) is proud to announce that the Electrical and Instrumentation Program students completed their first college course, ELT 110 Electricity and Electronics.
This course introduces students to basic principles of electricity and electronics theory with a heavy emphasis of industrial applications. This course is one of 10 that students are required to complete in two years in order to earn a Certificate of Proficiency.
While enrolled in CVIT courses, high school students are not required to pay tuition. CVIT also pays for books and program supplies. After high school graduation, students will be encouraged to continue with their studies to earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Technology.
There are 13 students from Globe, Miami, and Superior currently enrolled in CVIT’s Electrical and Instrumentation program. For more information on CVIT Programs, contact Beata Tarasiuk at 928- 425-9654, x164.
