Mariah Artemisa Sosa was born Jan. 6, 2012 at Scottsdale Healthcare in Scottsdale, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.

Her parents are Francisca Ortega of Phoenix, formerly of Hayden, and Victor Sosa of Phoenix, formerly of San Diego.

Grandparents are Jesus and Laura Ortega of Hayden, Victor Sosa of San Diego and Christina Alamillo of Superior.

Great-grandparents are Rosie Ortega of Hayden and the late Homer and Guadalupe Ortega, Maria Huinquez of San Diego, Marlene Pacheco of Superior and the late Bernard Mañge, Gladys Martinez of Kearny and Antolino Ballejos of Kearny.
