Ernest Michael Urquieta Jr.

Ernest Michael Urquieta Jr. was born Dec. 19, 2012, at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, weighing 9 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 22 inches long.

His parents are Ernest M. and Fredricka L. Urquieta of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

His grandparents are Inez V. “Neto” Urquieta of Superior, Lydia Gonzalez of Mesa and Wilfred J. “Sonny” and Rosie S. Peña of Peoria.

His great-grandparents are Santiago M. Urquieta of Superior and the late Lola V. Urquieta, Elizardo Gonzalez of Superior and the late Belen Gonzalez, Fred R. Salas of Phoenix and the late Luisa Salas, and Manuel Peña of Tolleson and the late Elvira Peña of Tolleson.

Young Mr. Urquieta was welcomed home by his proud siblings, Devin M. Urquieta (18), Cierra M. Urquieta (7) and Sonny Rose Peña (4).
