Copper Corridor baseball players and coaches compete in All-Star game

Several baseball players from local area high school were selected to participate in the Arizona Baseball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game, which took place last weekend at Goodyear Ballpark.

San Carlos baseball head coach Terry Antonio served as one of the coaches for the South squad.

Destry Yocum and Douglas McPeak from state runner up Ray High School were joined on the South Team by San Carlos pitcher Jimmy Pike.

Rickey Longoria from Superior and Nick Bowser from Miami played on the North Team.

Section VI Player of the Year Destry Yocum and the rest of the South Team defeated the North Team, 6 – 0.
