Copper Basin Women’s Expo coming Feb. 28

Martina Burnam is hard at work putting together the speakers, presenters, vendors for the 5th Annual Women’s Expo at Hayden High School on Feb. 28. There is plenty of room for more vendors and speakers. This is a great opportunity for people to learn and listen about job opportunities, people who have started their own jobs, networking and learning more about businesses and things to do in the area.

The confirmed vendors are Apache Gold Casino, ZORT, Cobre Valley Hospital (blood pressure and sugar checks), Pampered Chef, She’s Country Boutique, Native Air, Scentsy, Copper Community Action Board (CCAB), Central Arizona College, Avon, Mary Kay, Georgianna Woods (local author), Girl Scouts, Origami Owl, Melaleuca, Younique, Young Living Essential Oils and Ebay.

The confirmed speakers are Mediocre Meditation, Apache Gold Casino, Living A Healthy Life by Edward Aguirre, PTSD what is it by Iona Dease and Hayden Police Department will talk about self awareness and defense.

Doors open at 11 a.m. Admission is $3 or three cans of food. The first 25 people will obtain free gift bags and there will be drawings for various gifts every hour, the grand prize gift will be Apache Gold Casino round of golf and a dinner for two. The concessions will benefit Hayden’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The Pioneer Day Queen Contestants will have a fashion show beginning at 1 p.m.
