Boys’ basketball– The Lobos went 1 – 2 in the 2015 San Manuel Holiday Classic, defeating St. Augustine before losing to San Manuel on Jan. 2. They lost to Immaculate Heart the following day to end their tournament run. The Lobos returned to action on Jan. 6 hosting Cibecue. Upcoming schedule: Jan. 8 at Ray, Jan 9. vs. Ft. Thomas, and Jan. 13 vs. Arete Prep. All games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Girls’ basketball– The Lady Lobos will play three of their next four games at home, beginning Jan. 6 vs. Cibecue. After a Jan. 8 game at Ray, they’ll play at home on Jan. 9 vs. Ft. Thomas and Jan. 13 vs. Arete Prep. All games are scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Boys’ basketball– The Bearcats went 1 – 4 at the Apache Gold Shootout, hosted by San Carlos High school on Dec. 29-31. The ‘Cats lost to Miami and Alechesay on Dec. 29 before losing to Douglas and defeating Globe on Dec. 30. They lost their final of three games on Dec. 30 to Miami. The Bearcats will return to action with three games in eight days, beginning with a home game on Jan. 8 vs. Hayden. They’ll host San Carlos on Jan. 9 and Miami on Jan. 14. All games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Girls’ basketball– The Lady Cats went into the holiday break riding a three-game winning streak after wins against Superior, Duncan, and Cibecue. They’ll play their next four games at home, beginning Jan. 8 vs. Hayden. Upcoming schedule: Jan. 9 vs. San Carlos, Jan. 14 vs. Miami, and Jan. 16 vs. Mogollon. All games are scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
