The Superior Lady Panthers from left are Lindsay Duarte, Arianna San Miguel, Elizabeth Ochoa, Phalicitee “Pinky” Thomas, Janessa Perez, Hunter Flannagan and Cierra Navarrette.

The SHS Volleyball Team was successful in their fundraising to attend the David Rubio Volleyball Camp at the University of Arizona. “They all worked extremely hard and learned a more competitive offense and defense,’ explained Head Coach Cheryl Lopez. “We are all very excited for the upcoming season.” The SHS volleyball season will be starting in just a few short weeks.

The team wanted to send a shout out to everyone who helped them fundraise and donated to their cause. Becky Moreno, Bruce Miller, Diane Koenen, Anna Scholnick, Rosemary Quiroz, Cathy Sommers, Billy Duarte, Cindy Benson, Los Hermanos Restaurant, and Save Money Market. Funds raised in memory of Zack and Catherine Coxon were also used to fund the expenses.
