Another season of Community Schools Flag Football came to an end on Saturday, Dec. 14. There were over 20 football teams from Mammoth, San Manuel, Oracle, Hayden and Kearny. The cheer squads as well as parents, siblings and grandparents were there to cheer the young football players along.

The Arbizo team from Hayden won the Division 4 Championship. The Quintero team from San Manuel won Division 6 Championship. Congratulations to everyone who played!

The MSM Community Schools Flag Football and Cheer Programs enable the youth to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through active participation the students are taught fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. The objective is to inspire our youth and practice ideals of sportsmanship, self improvement, physical fitness and becoming familiar with football and cheer.

MSM Community Schools is committed to excellence: motivating and challenging participants through a partnership of players, cheerleaders, coaches, parents and the community. Success will be defined as the self-satisfaction in knowing participants have done the best they are capable of doing.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered and participated this season! The MSM Community Schools Basketball Season will begin registration in early January. If you have questions or need additional information, please refer to MSM Community Schools Facebook page at: Msm CommunitySchools or contact Larry Ramirez at 520-385-2337 ext. 1113.
