Coed slow pitch softball tournament coming to San Manuel

San Manuel – For the love of the game, to challenge your skills and to see how you measure up against the competition, come out and play in the 2013 San Manuel Co-Ed Slow Pitch Softball Tournament on Sat., Jun. 15.

The tournament will take place at San Manuel Jr. High Softball/Baseball Fields beginning at 8 a.m. The format is double elimination with seven-inning games or a one-hour, fifteen-minute time limit.

Batters will start with a 1-1 pitch count for each at bat and there will be a 10-run rule after the 4th inning.

The lineup must rotate genders. If a male is walked, the female player behind him has the choice to walk. Only the first home run in the game hit by a male is allowed, as every other male home run will be an out. Females can hit unlimited home runs.

The first place team will receive t-shirts. To register contact Ryan Sichting at 765-318-2662 by 6 p.m. on Fri, Jun. 14 so that tournament brackets can be drawn that evening. The cost for registration is $120 per team plus two softballs. Teams must pay before the first game.
