Memorial services are set for Sat., Sept. 29, 2012 for Charles Delmer “Chuck” Stamps at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Chuck was born at Bokoshe, Oklahoma. He worked for thirty years at Magma Copper Company, retiring in 1985.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Margarette, one son, Phil (Barbara) Stamps, three daughters, Sharon Kay Brown of Oracle, AZ, Brenda Louise Fenn of Benson, AZ, and Vickie Lanette (Daun) Johnson of Shiprock, NM.
He is also survived by three brothers, Harold (Edna) Stamps of Odessa, TX, Doyle (Jennie) Stamps of Roseville, CA, and Gene (Eva) Stamps of Norman, OK, and two sisters, Freida (Oben) Tarrant of Norman, OK and Arlene Reed of Broken Arrow, OK.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Pearl Stamps.
