PINAL COUNTY, Ariz.– During the Oct. 20 meeting, the Pinal County Community College District Board of Governors voted to move forward with the search for the next president of Central Arizona College. This action comes as a result of the Oct. 1 announcement of Dr. Doris Helmich’s retirement, effective June 30, 2016.

A nationwide search for a new President will be conducted. Over the next few weeks, special community/college conversations will be held to gather information from the citizens of Pinal County as well as the employees of the College. The information collected will be used by the Governing Board to develop the position profile that will guide the Board in finding candidates that reflect the desired qualities and qualifications.
