San Manuel Miner
The San Manuel Miners will be sending Andrea Castaneda and Eneida Quintero to Phoenix this weekend to compete at Arizona State Cross Country Championships.
The girls took part in the Section Meet on Nov. 2 and qualified for state. Andrea finished 15th place with a time of 22:09.1, and Eneida finished in 16th place with a time of 22:09.4.
The top 25 runners advance from each Sectional race advance to compete at state.
The boys finished as a team in 9th place. The top seven teams of each advance to compete at state. Finishing for the boys in order were: James Duarte with a time of 18:56.3, Patrick Lopez with a time of 19:24.3, Colton Stratton with a time of 19:27.6, Carlos Salas with a time of 19:49.4, Nathaniel Lopez with a time of 19:54.1, Jared Gonzales with a time of 20:14.4, and 20:38.5.
