Geri Romero of Sole to Soul

Balancing your life physically, emotionally and spiritually is often a challenge.  Holistic and natural health care is one way to help to balance these important life aspects and now you no longer need to drive out of town to access some of these important wellness benefits such as reflexology, massage, reiki or to purchase essential oils or salt lamps.

Just about everything you need to have for wellness is available inside Sole to Soul Awakenings which is owned by Geri and Jody Romero.  Geri has been practicing Reflexology and Reiki for many years.  She received her training from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.  She had been wanting to open her own store and studio. Her instinct kept telling her to go East, so she searched Apache Junction and East Mesa but never quite found the right location. Then one night she had a dream.  In the dream she saw mountains like the ones in Superior.  She knew it was a sign about picking a location for her store.

She and her husband Jody came to visit family in Superior and on that visit, Jody said, “Let’s go check out downtown.”  It had been quite a while since they had visited downtown and they were surprised to see the work on the Magma Hotel and other businesses starting in the area.

Geri quickly realized that the mountains in her dream were the same mountains that are northeast of downtown Superior.  It was that moment she knew that they needed to locate their business to downtown Superior, and they quickly found a building to rent.

In September of 2017, Sole to Soul Awakenings celebrated its fourth anniversary in business in Superior.  They offer a variety of holistic and wellness services including Massage, Reiki, Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Foot Detox, Salt Cave, Bio Feedback, Cranial Neural, DNA cell healing and they are also home to Superior Skincare which offers many other facial and skincare services including waxes, lash extension and makeup application.  Gift certificates are available and they can customize spa packages for your needs.

Sole to Soul often hosts various trainings and art classes to round out their wellness activities throughout the year.  One popular event is the Gifts and Blessings events which brings in various psychics for one on one sessions.

In addition to the many services and classes that are available at Sole to Soul Awakenings, they also have a variety of gift items from Himalayan Salt Rock Lamps, Essential Oils, home decor such as crosses and inspirational signs and Copper Jewelry.  One unique product is a line of CBD creams which have Cannabis Oil but do not have THC which causes the “high”effect.

Gerry is encouraged by the success of her business in Superior, she shared that there are always challenges in business ownership.  Her advice to fellow entrepreneurs and future business owners:  “Don’t lose hope, keep going, maintain your faith and remember, it is always darkest before dawn.”
