The Ray boys’ basketball team earned a big win at Ft. Thomas last Friday night, 64 – 62. In addition to avenging a season-opening loss to the Apaches, the win almost assures the Bearcats a spot in the Sectional Tournament. The first round of Sectional Tournament will be played on February 12, 2014, at Miami (AZ) High School. The tournament final is scheduled for February 15.

Even with a postseason berth seemingly locked up, the ‘Cats still have three games left in their regular season beginning with a home game versus Miami (AZ) on February 4. They’ll play their final two regular season games at home, as well. First, against Superior on February 5 before finishing against Joseph City on February 7. All games are scheduled to tipoff at 7:00 p.m.
