The Ray boys’ basketball team opened its season last Tuesday with a 55 – 52 win at Ft. Thomas.
Last week’s victory was the ‘Cats second-straight over the Apaches after a 64 – 62 win earlier this year in January.
The Apaches ruined the Bearcats season opener at home last year, defeating them, 73 – 67.
After a road game at San Manuel on Dec. 2, the Bearcats play at San Carlos on Dec. 9 before three consecutive home games beginning with their home opener against Superior on Dec. 10. They’ll take on Duncan and Cibecue at home on Dec. 13 and Dec. 16, respectively.
All games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
