After having its seven-game winning streak snapped by then top-ranked Superior on Mar. 20, the fifth-ranked Ray baseball team started a new streak by winning three-straight games.
The Cats defeated Baboquivari (4 – 2), Duncan (12 – 2) and NFL Yet Academy (20 – 1) all at home.
In Monday’s lopsided win against NFL Yet, Derek Figueroa, Alec Carrillo and Tracon Naranjo combined to throw five innings pitched with seven K’s, led by Figueroa’s four.
