, 88, of Superior, Ariz. passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at his home.
Baudelio was born on May 20, 1926, in Superior, Ariz. to Ygnacio and Clotilde Zabalza. Baudelio was raised in Ahualulco, Mexico and moved to Superior at age 18. Baudelio worked for the mine and was married 64 years to Josefina (Duran) Zabalza. He enjoyed spending time with his family, sitting outside enjoying the weather and watching Novelas.
Baudelio is survived by his wife: Josefina Zabalza; six children: Martha (Guillermo) Lopez, Norma (George) Otero, Rachel (Sonny) Cardenas, Frances (Gilbert) Chavez, Ygnacio (Debbie) Zabalza and Patricia (Angel) Sandoval; sister: Elena Torrez; 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Juanita Macias and Estella Ortega; grandson: Raul Otero; and great grandson: Erik Fritz Jr.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Superior, Ariz. Visitation at 9 a.m. Rosary at 10 a.m. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Fairview Cemetery and reception to follow at the Magma Club. Online Guestbook: www.SuperiorFuneral.com.
