  Barbara Tyler, 71, of Gilbert, AZ, passed away on May 27, 2016 after battling from ovarian cancer for almost 5 years.  Barbara was a devoted wife for 48 years, a loving mother and an amazing grandmother.

  Barb graduated High School in 1962 and worked as a secretary while taking care of her younger siblings after her parents were gone.

  Barbara was a member of Holy Cross Church.  She enjoyed volunteering at Sunny Acres Children’s Home and Banner Gateway Hospital.  Her family was the most important thing in her life.  She loved playing and spending time with her grandchildren and most importantly making people laugh.

  Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert Tyler; son, David Tyler and his wife Jodi; daughter, Jenny Myers and her husband Ben; sister, Janet Grenfell; nephew, Jason Grenfell; brother, W. Thomas Grenfell; and grandsons, Brendan, Jon, and Sam.

  Services were held at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home on June 3, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd. #101, Queen Creek, AZ 85142. Ph. 480-888-2682 www.santanmountainviewfuneralhome.com
