Aurora Dorame Pacheco

Aurora Dorame Pacheco, 79, the matriarch and rock of our family went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2013. She has reunited in heaven with her husband, Guillermo P. Pacheco and parents, Guadalupe and Angelita Dorame.

She is survived by her sons, Enrique Pacheco and Nick (Regina) Pacheco; daughters, Odilia (Gabriel) Aguirre, Malena (Daniel) Aguirre and Patricia (Michael) Araiza; and sister and brother, Guadalupe Ortega D. (sister) and Nicholas Dorame (brother) both from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was a woman of great faith and had strong devotion and love to God and her family. She loved everyone unconditionally and touched many lives in the communities of Winkelman and Hayden, as well as everywhere she went. She enjoyed listening to norteño music, watching novelas, talking on the phone with her comadres and spending most of her time in the kitchen cooking for everyone.

Services for Mrs. Pacheco were held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 300 Mountain View Drive, Hayden, Arizona. Internment followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
