Speaking of romance, Chef Eric and Terri from Tall Order Catering will revisit the Arboretum both weekend days (Feb. 16-17) from 11 am-3 pm to share a variety of exotic foods chosen for their “amour-ability.”

Candied rose petals; a lipstick-red syrup made from rhubarb, rose petals and citrus – and sweet wine lavender cookies; plus a hibiscus-ginger drink that may just have a little vasodilating kick! Ginger has been famous for centuries as both a digestif and aphrodisiac; according to the entertaining blog, eatsomethingsexy.com, which describes “its classification as a natural aphrodisiac comes from its ability to increase circulation. Served pickled, candied or in the raw, ginger increases sensitivity in the erogenous zones. French legend Madame du Barry made a practice of serving ginger to her lovers.”

Chef Eric and Terri are sure to post a few more thoughts, comments and pre-event photos on their Facebook page facebook.com/TallOrderCatering.
