Art is survived by his children, Laura L. Brown, Vickie L. (Pilar) Lechuga, Arthur L.(Vicky) Lain III, Sheryl L. (Jack) Lain-Young, Garrie L. (Ronda) Lain, Daniel L (Nancy) Lain, and Tammy L. He moved to Kearny in 1969 and continued to serve the Copper Basin area mining industry for many years, before retiring and living in Glendale. He learned to weld from his father – a legacy passed down by his grandfather – and spent a lifetime in the industry.

At the request of Art, no services will be held.
