Superstition Arts & Cultural Alliance (SACA) and Dreams and Legends Gallery have announced their selection of Robert Jensen as January’s Superstition Artist of  the month.

Robert Jensen has been an avid photographer since high school. Though his adult career was that of a retail investigator, trainer and auditor, photography has remained his passion, with his work first published in 2000 in a compilation, “Enduring Textures”, by the International Library of Photography.

Being an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring what nature has to offer, Robert is rarely without his camera. As he hikes the trails of the Superstitions, his camera is always ready to capture the images that present themselves. Robert says “Photography and digital imaging are my creative outlets of personal expression. They are my way of documenting the trails I walk, physically and spiritually.”

As Robert’s creative process continually evolves he finds himself entering a world of great opportunities of customizing and designing memorable images that are  unique in their presentation. Clients  who commission photos from Mr. Jensen are thrilled when their photographs turn out be individual works of art as well as photographic records.

A long-time resident of Apache Junction, Robert frequently shows his work in the Apache Junction /Gold Canyon area.

As the Artist of the Month, a selection of Robert’s photographs will be on exhibit at the Dreams and Legends of the Superstitions Gallery, located at 2260 North Apache Trail, Highway 88, Apache Junction. Owners Ernest and Janice Imbeau invite the public to visit their website at http://www.dreamsandlegendsart.com/ for directions to their gallery and open hours.

Robert’s photographs can also  be seen online at http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/robert-jensen.html.

SACA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the encouragement and support of art and culture in the region through advocacy, development and education. The Superstition Artist of the Month is open to all artists and creators of fine crafts who live in Apache Junction or Gold Canyon. Artists interested in being considered for Artist of the Month are invited to go to http://www.sacaaj.com/ for details.
