Animal Rescue closes doors

We are sorry to say that Raining Cats and Dogs Small Animal Rescue has closed its doors. We had a great many successes in rescuing animals in distress, and in adopting out to new and good owners. We helped untold amounts of people find low cost spay and neuter clinics along with low cost vaccinations. We assisted with transportation to and from these clinics.

We feel we did a lot of good for the animals, but, due to illness on both our parts, we are just not able to continue. It is a sad day for us.

We would like to thank all the people who donated money, food and equipment. Especially, we want to thank the few people willing to get involved and help. Without them, we would have had to close our doors, sooner.

We want to shame anyone else that calls themselves animal lovers. These are people too selfish or busy, or, whatever, to pitch in even to help just a little to save animals. We had so little help it was embarrassing and ridiculous. Without help, no rescue of animals or people can survive. So, thanks to all who did not help, except to send more animals to their death.

Sincerely,/s/ Laura Pettit
