Ana Victoria Flores Meza

Ana Victoria Flores Meza went peacefully to be with our lord on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018. She was 68 years old.

Ana was born in Ray, AZ to Reynaldo L. Flores and Julia Santos Flores on March 21, 1950. Ana attended school at Hayden-Winkelman School District until her sophomore year of high school. She then transferred to Ray High School. In school she excelled in basketball and volleyball. She also teamed up with best friend Patsy Pacheco and won the 2A State Title in badminton doubles.  She graduated from Ray in 1968.

After high school, Ana attended Arizona Medical and Dental Assistant College in Phoenix Arizona. She graduated in December of 1968 and began her career with Bennett, Bennett, and Toon Dental Office in Tucson, AZ. When she decided to move back to Dudleyville, she worked with Dr. Gilmocker, Dr. Fred Weyh, Dr Samsill, and Dr Vanessa Powell at CCA in Florence. She retired after 36 years.

She was loved by many; the patients, nurses and doctors at Haven of Globe and Gilbert Mercy Dignity Hospital, as well as the friends and loved ones in the local community.  “She always had a smile and kind words to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.”

God had plans for her. She passed peacefully in the afternoon of Nov. 15, 2018 at Gilbert Mercy Dignity Hospital after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving husband Bill and sons, along with other relatives and friends.

Ana is preceded in death by her mother Julia, father Reynaldo, and brother Reynaldo, Jr.
