Amanda Noriega Corral

  Amanda Noriega Corral, 95 of Kearny, Arizona went to be with our heavenly Father on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 in Gilbert, Arizona. 

  Amanda was born in Winkelman, Arizona on Sept. 10, 1921.  She met the love of her life Jose (Pepe) Corral in Litchfield, Arizona married and soon thereafter started a family.  Amanda’s passion was that of caring for her husband and family.   When she wasn’t raising her family, she took time to enjoy hobbies such as crocheting, cooking and baking and sharing that passion with her granddaughters.  Amanda was active in the Catholic Church, Senior Center and the occasional trip to the casino.  Amanda will be fondly remembered for her many lifelong friendships spanning over 75 years 

  Amanda was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Corral.  She is survived by their 6 children,  Mary Ann (Tony) Bueno of Gilbert, Eddie (Jovie) Corral of Mesa, Henry (Alicia) Corral of Tucson, Ernest (Velma) Corral of Mesa, Joe (Judy) Corral of Mesa and David (Mary Alice) Corral of Gilbert.  Amanda had 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

  Services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church. Viewing will be at 8:30 a.m., Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.  Luncheon reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
