Alexander Red Arnett Jr.

Alexander Red Arnett Jr., 84, of Superior, passed away on March 22, 2012. Red was born in Superior on August 1, 1927. He spent many years working at Magma Copper Company, but his passion was working as a cowboy for local ranches.

A friendly man, Red was best known for his kindness and stories about growing up and living in Superior.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean Arnett; son, Rusty Arnett; daughters, Jeannie Arnett and Tammy Arnett; sister, Lucy Coen; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on April 21 at St. Francis of Assisi Church Superior followed by a memorial luncheon to celebrate his life at Los Hermanos Ballroom. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Crossings Hospice 2123B Sunset Point, Miami, AZ 85539.
