A.J. was born in Santa Monica, California at St. John’s Hospital on July 12, 1956 to Carol Jean Ryba and Albert James Carpenter III. He passed away on April 14, 2013 at the ripe age of 56.
His last place of residence was Oracle, Arizona.
He worked many places in his lifetime including Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, BHP Copper mine in San Manuel, Tucson College, and SAIAT. His job was never done though, as a full time father and life teacher to anyone he came in contact with. He loved animals and to work with his hands especially when it came to being creative. Some of his hobbies were deep sea fishing, camping, yard work, and telling stories of his past life adventures.
He leaves behind his daughter, Jamie Ree Carpenter; and his girlfriend, Esther Waltermire; along with his father, Albert James Carpenter III; step-mother, Marion Carpenter; an older sister, Cheryl Riggs; two nieces, Caroline Wacker, and Maxine Carpenter; a nephew, Christopher Griffin; and many other family members, blood and friend alike.
Memorial Services will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Oracle, on April 30 at 2 p.m. Dad loved to eat so bring food and drink; we should celebrate!
