The Adelante Juntos Coalition will host a Community Information Session for anyone wanting more information on the Affordable Care Act, AHCCCS and the Health Insurance Marketplace on Thursday, Dec. 19, at noon. The meeting will be held at 321 S. Ave. B, San Manuel.

The Marketplace allows individuals and families to find coverage that fits your needs and budget, whether you are insured, don’t currently have any coverage or would simply like to explore your choices.

The meeting will be conducted by Melissa Villalobos, Regional Lead Navigator with Sun Life Family Health Center, which is entrusted in assisting Pinal, Gila, Graham and Greenlee communities in understanding their options and providing unbiased information/answers to questions. The information workshop is about an hour long and is open to community members, anyone who does not understand the new healthcare law, anyone with questions or who would like more information on how to navigate it. After the workshop, individual assistance with applying for the Marketplace or AHCCCS will be available for both English and Spanish speakers.

Please stop by Sun Life Family Health Center located at 23 McNab Pkwy., San Manuel, or contact Melissa Zazueta, the local outreach coordinator at 520-350-7556 for a list of information that will be needed to apply for either program.
