AIA selects 13 Miners for All-Section Teams

Seven players from the back-to-back State Champion Miners’ softball team were named to the AIA All-Section teams. The Miners baseball team, which reached the semi-finals of the state tournament for third straight year, had six players selected to the All-Section teams.

Felicia Medina, Angelica Zuniga, Alyssa Cuellar, Lyana Waddell, Ashley Vargas, Mireya Tamayo, and Angela Navarro are the Miners who were selected to the All-Section teams.

Anthony Garcia, Shane Kelly, Richard Romo, Effren Haro, Armando Sierra, and Francisco Medina are the Miners’ baseball players who earned All-Section honors.
