Adopt a pot and help beautify Superior

Thanks to the Modern Woodmen of America organization, the Superior Chamber of Commerce is spearheading a project to beautify the business areas of Superior called Adopt a Flower Pot.

Pots of flowers will be placed in front of businesses on Main St., Hwy 60 and throughout the town. The Chamber will plant flowers in the pots and maintain them. The business owners and employees will water them.

People and businesses can adopt a pot for $35. A sign will be placed in each pot with the donor’s name.

This fundraising event is made possible by the Modern Woodmen of America, who contribute to many beautification projects. The Chamber’s goal is to raise $2,500 and they will match that amount. This will give the Chamber enough to plant and maintain about 60 pots.

The planting date for this fun project is scheduled for Mon., Dec. 3, and all are welcome to come out and help. For more information, call Sue at 602-625-3151 or stop by Dalton Realty or the Copper Gecko.

Checks may be mailed to the Superior Chamber of Commerce at PO Box 95, Superior, AZ85173. Sign verbiage can include a maximum 60 letters, along with a name, phone number and email address.
