San Manuel – Adelante Juntos Coalition (AJC) and El Centro Center are still up and running, serving the Tri-Community. After the resignation of Betty Chavez, many have been under the assumption that AJC and El Centro Center have relocated to Superior.
Diana Polanco, Project Assistant, has taken on the role of maintaining AJC and the many projects, such as El Centro, here in San Manuel. El Centro Center, which provides the community with a safe place to go outside and socialize, keeping the youth of the community out of trouble, is being run by Daniel Shenk, from the hours of 3 pm – 8 pm, Tuesday – Saturday.
AJC and El Centro are holding a dance on Dec. 27, from 7 pm – 11 pm. Keep an eye out for information regarding AJC and El Centro Center. Please contact Diana Polanco at 520-385-3028, Monday – Friday, from 10 am – 3 pm, or, visit the office at 321 S. Avenue B in San Manuel for more information.
