Accomplish Many Mighty Things with God’s Help

In 2 Chronicles 36:22 we read, “In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the Word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation . . .”

God uses people – all sorts of ordinary people like each of us, and also mighty kings of nations, to accomplish His plans for us.  This is not just a one-time occurrence, because we find it happening throughout the Scriptures.  We also see it happening today.

Each of us should ask ourselves – ‘am I willing to be used by God for His purposes?’  This will only happen if you are able to completely trust Him to direct your life.  Experience has proven that He will not take us down the wrong path.

Abraham and Moses learned to walk and talk with the Lord.  Because they fully trusted Him, they were able to accomplish many mighty things in their lifetimes.  Yes, we certainly can too.  Tell Jesus – ‘use me Lord, show me what to do and how You want me to do it.’  And – He certainly will!
