Sunset Drive is the traditional start of the walk.

The Superior High School FCCLA members will be hosting the seventh annual Cancer Walk this Saturday, April 9, 2016. Each year the group raises money for the American Cancer Society by hosting the walk and taking donations for t-shits and luminaries.  The theme for the walk is “Reality, Survivor of Tomorrow. Hope, Fight of Today. Dream of Yesterday”

Line up for the walk is 5:30 p.m. at the top of Sunset Drive at Highway 177. The walk will begin at 6 p.m.  Once all walked have arrived at the football field there will be a memorial ceremony, guest speaker.  Refreshments will be sold to benefit the American Cancer Society.  All funds raised at the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.

This year the club is requesting that each walker make a $10 donation; at this time it is too late to get names on T-Shirts.

For more details and pre-registration please contact Kassandra Baltierra 480-236-1051, Terry Villaverde or Valerie Garcia at 520-689-3100.
